PURPOSE:
AMEND CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT; APPROVE REVISED
PLANNED DEVELOPMENT- 100 BLOCK
INITIATED BY: CITY ADMINISTRATION
WHEREAS, the Common Council previously granted a conditional use permit for
a planned mixed commercial/residential development in the 100 Block of N. Main
Street; and
WHEREAS, one of the conditions of approval was the designation of up to 60
parking spaces in the Ceape Avenue Parking Lot for use by 100 Block tenants based on
the City's standard monthly/annual permit rates; and
WHEREAS, following that action, it was determined by City staff that the
underlying funding used in development of the Ceape Avenue Parking Lot prohibited
the designation of spaces for a particular commercial property and that all parking
spaces remain available for general public use.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of
Oshkosh that the planned commercial/residential development in the 100 Block of N.
Main Street is hereby revised by amending the condition relating to parking spaces as
follows:
1) Up to 60 parking spaces be designated for use in the old Hooper Community
Center property based on the City's standard monthly/annual permit rates and that an
agreement be entered into between the City and 100 Block LLC in that regard. Said
agreement to address the location of spaces within the current surface lot and the
location of spaces following parking lot improvement work.
