PURPOSE: GRANT CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT / 702 KNAPP STREET INITIATED BY: JAMES & JAYNE BOYCE AND JAMES & ANN FAUST, PETITIONERS PLAN COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: Found to be consistent with Section 30-11(D) and approved BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh that a conditional use permit is hereby granted under Section 30-11 of the Oshkosh Zoning Ordinance for a pet store, per the attached "Exhibit A", with the following conditions: 1) 2) 3) 4) 5) 6) 7) The proposed parking area to the south and east of the building be paved in accordance with applicable standards of the Zoning Ordinance. The existing curb breaks along Knapp Street are prohibited for use to access parking areas on the site. The existing parking area along the Knapp Street side of the building be eliminated and replaced as open space green area. The existing pylon sign located at the corner of Knapp Street and W. 8th Avenue is permitted as long as the pylon support remains in place and is not removed for any reason. If at any time the pylon is removed or is proposed to be replaced, it must be done in compliance with the applicable standards of the Zoning Ordinance at the time of application for a building permit. No dogs are allowed to be sold or kept at the site, nor shall the site be used as a kennel for dogs. The curb breaks along Knapp Street shall be eliminated at the time Knapp Street is reconstructed with new curb and gutter with the exception of the curb break that directly accesses the overhead door into the building. Proposed dumpster area to be screened in compliance with the Zoning Ordinance.
