PURPOSE:
APPROVE VARIANCES: (A) 3733 GLENKIRK LANE;
(B) 1209 INDIGO DRIVE
INITIATED BY:
(A) EDISON ESTATES, PETITIONER; (B) FLOOD HOMES,
PETITIONER
WHEREAS, Edison Estates, on behalf of the owner at 3733 Glenkirk Lane,
respectfully requests a variance for a 10+ ft. setback from the park street while Section
16-15(A)(1 )(d) of the Municipal Code requires a 20 ft. setback from the park street; and
WHEREAS, Flood Homes, on behalf of the owner at 1209 Indigo Drive,
respectfully requests a variance for a 4+ ft. rear yard setback while Section 16-
15(A)(1)(d) of the Municipal Code requires at least a 5 ft. rear yard setback; and
WHEREAS, approval of these requests does not appear to create a negative
impact on, nor be out of character with, the affected Mobile Home Parks and the
surrounding environs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of
Oshkosh that pursuant to Section 16-18 of the Oshkosh Municipal Code, the request for
special exceptions to the setback requirements for mobile homes at 3733 Glenkirk Lane
and 1209 Indigo Drive, as noted above, are hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proper City officials are authorized and
directed to take necessary steps to implement this decision.
