HomeMy WebLinkAbout02-179.docMAY 28, 2002 02-179 RESOLUTION (CARRIED 7-0 LOST LAID OVER WITHDRAWN .) PURPOSE: AMEND CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT; APPROVE REVISED PLANNED DEVELOPMENT - 500 S. OAKWOOD ROAD INITIATED BY: MERCY MEDICAL CENTER PLAN COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: Approved w/conditions WHEREAS, the Common Council previously approved a conditional use permit for a planned commercial development for construction of a new hospital and medical facility with associated amenities; and WHEREAS, the petitioner desires to amend the development plan by relocating the southernmost driveway on Oakwood Road and the replacement/addition of ground and wall signs, per the attached "Exhibit A". NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh that the planned commercial development at 500 S. Oakwood Road, is hereby amended to permit the relocation of the southernmost driveway on Oakwood Rd. and the replacement/addition of ground and wall signs, per the attached "Exhibit A", with the following conditions: 1) A landscape plan be submitted to, and approved by, the Department of Community Development detailing how the old driveway location will be re-landscaped prior to construction work commencing on the new driveway location. 2) The driveway to be relocated shall be closed at the right-of-way in a manner approved by the Department of Public Works. 3) Any utilities that must be relocated as a result of these actions on the site are to be done at the owners/petitioners expense. 4) Ground signs to be placed no closer than their existing setbacks or in compliance with the setbacks allowed by the Zoning Ordinance. 5) Widen the 9th Avenue entrance to include wider driveway flares and lanes to accommodate more efficient ingress and egress to the site with final approval of the design to be granted by the Department of Community Development.
