Update on Pratt Trail reconstruction project Jennifer Haas, Ph.D., Archaeological Research Laboratory Center Director, will provide the Board with an update on the archaeological work associated with the Pratt Trail road reconstruction project. 2. Approve Fish Sticks installation by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) in various sites in Miller’s Bay Menominee Park The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) has approached the City to request the installation of fish sticks at various sites in Miller’s Bay Menominee Park. A map indicating potential locations within Miller’s Bay is included in your packet. Fish Sticks projects are intended to restore woody habitat in lakes by adding trees to the near-shore area. They are large woody habitat structures that utilize whole trees either grouped together or single trees that result in the placement of more than 1 tree per 50 feet of shoreline. Fish Sticks structures are anchored to the shore and are partially or fully submerged near the shoreline of a lake. Documentation is provided in your packets with general information regarding this project. DNR staff will be on hand at the meeting to present further information and to answer any questions regarding the placement of these fish sticks. If you have questions prior to the meeting, please feel free to contact me at 236-5080. If you will not be able to attend the meeting, please contact Hannah Schueler, Administrative Assistant, at 236-5080. Thank you in advance.
