BILLS It is recommended that the bills, as audited and presented by the Director of Finance, be approved for payment. 2. MISS WISCONSIN PARADE Request permission to grant approval to the Miss Wisconsin Organization to utilize city streets and facilities on Wednesday, June 19, 2002, beginning at 6:30 p.m., for the Miss Wisconsin Parade, in accordance with the attached letter of request. 3. 2002-2003 CELEBRATION OF LIGHTS Request permission to grant approval to the Celebration of Lights Steering Committee to utilize Menominee Park and Opera House Square in the evenings from the last week in November, 2002, through the first week in January, 2003, for the 2002-2003 Celebration of Lights, in accordance with the attached letter of request. 4. CLOSING OF 10TM AVENUE Request permission to grant approval to Grace Lutheran Church and Schools to close 10th Avenue, between Oregon and Nebraska Streets, on Saturday, August 17, 2002, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., for the construction of a playground, in accordance with the attached letter of request. 5. CLOSING OF MINNESOTA STREET Request permission to grant approval to First English Lutheran Church to close Minnesota Street, from 10th Avenue to 11th Avenue, on Sunday, June 2, 2002, from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m., for their Sunday School Church Picnic, in accordance with the attached letter of request. 6. 5K RUN/WALK Request permission to grant approval to UW-Oshkosh's men's cross country and track teams to utilize Menominee Park and facilities on Saturday, July 13, 2002, from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., for a 5K Run/Walk, in accordance with the attached letter of request and recommendation from Parks Director Tom Stephany. 7. SPIRITFEST Request permission to grant approval to Calvary Chapel of Oshkosh to utilize Menominee Park and facilities on Saturday, August 24, 2002, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., for Spiritfest 2002, in accordance with the attached letter of request and recommendation from Parks Director Tom Stephany.
