HomeMy WebLinkAbout02-140.docAPRIL 9, 2002 APRIL 23, 2002 FIRST READING SECOND READING 02-124 02-140 ORDINANCE (CARRIED 7-0 LOST LAID OVER WITHDRAWN PURPOSE: ZONE CHANGE/1904-1934 ALGOMA BOULEVARD, 1917 HAMILTON STREET AND 2004 COLUMBIA AVENUE INITIATED BY: THOMAS KARRELS PLAN COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: Approved A GENERAL ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OSHKOSH AMENDING SECTION 30- 16(B) OF THE OSHKOSH MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO ZONING DISTRICTS. The Common Council of the City of Oshkosh do ordain as follows: SECTION 1. That Section 30-16(B) of the Oshkosh Municipal Code pertaining to Zoning Districts and the map therein described is hereby amended by changing the district character of the following described area from C-1 Neighborhood Business to C- 1 Neighborhood Business with a Planned Development Overlay. A part of lots 167, 168, 179 through 190 all in E.M. Crane's Addition and a part of Hamilton Street, Columbia Avenue and Algoma Boulevard all in the Twelfth Ward, City of Oshkosh, Winnebago County, Wisconsin described as follows: Commencing at the intersection of the centerline of Algoma Boulevard and the centerline of Columbia Avenue; thence east along the centerline of Columbia Avenue to the centerline of Hamilton Street; thence north along the centerline of Hamilton Street to the extended north line of Lot 167 of said E. M. Crane's Addition; thence west along the extended north line and north line of said Lot 167 to the centerline of Algoma Boulevard; thence southeasterly along the centerline of Algoma Boulevard to the centerline of Columbia Avenue also being the point of beginning. SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication.
