A. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT
1. BILLS
It is recommended that the bills, as audited and presented by the Director of Finance, be
approved for payment.
2. AMERICAN RED CROSS FUN RUN & WALK
Request permission to grant approval to the American Red Cross to utilize city streets,
Menominee Park and facilities on Sunday, May 5, 2002, from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m., for
their Fun Run & Walk, in accordance with the attached letter of request.
3. 2002 ANNUAL DOWNTOWN SIDEWALK SALE
Request permission to grant approval to the Oshkosh Chamber of Commerce to close
North Main Street, from Algoma Boulevard to Church Avenue, on Thursday, July 11,
2002, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., for the Annual Sidewalk Sale, in accordance with the
attached letter of request.
4. MUSEUM ART FAIR
Request permission to grant approval to the Oshkosh Public Museum to close Algoma
Boulevard, from New York Avenue to Congress Avenue, on Sunday, July 7, 2002, from
7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., for the Museum Art Fair, in accordance with the attached letter of
request.
5. GRAND OPERA HOUSE MEXICAN FIESTA
Request permission to grant approval to the Grand Opera House Foundation to utilize
Market Street, from High to Algoma, or if Market Street is unavailable, the city parking lot
across the street from the Grand Opera House on High Avenue, on Saturday, May 18,
2002, from 3:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., for a Mexican Fiesta, in accordance with the attached
letter of request.
6. SAGE SAFETY NIGHT
Request permission to grant approval to Oaklawn Elementary School to close Viola
Street, from the east end of Oaklawn School to the west end, on Thursday, May 23, 2002,
from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., for their SAGE Safety Night, in accordance with the attached
letter of request.
