COMMON COUNCIL MEETING
February 26, 2002

A, CITY MANAGER'S REPORT
1. BILLS
It is recommended that the bills, as audited and presented by the Director of Finance, be
approved for payment
· WATERFEST CONCERT SERIES
Request permission to grant approval to the Oshkosh Commercial Development
Corporation, Chamber of Commerce and Waterfest, Inc. to utilize Riverside Park every
Thursday night beginning on May 20 and running through August 30, 2002, starting at
6:00 p.m. and ending at 11:00 p.m., for the Waterfest Concert Series. They also ask
permission to hold a Friday night concert on July 26th and a Wednesday night concert on
July 3, 2002, also utilizing Riverside Park and the same timeframe. This is in accordance
with the attached letter of request.
(With Council consent, all overtime accumulated by the Police Department as a
direct result of WaterFest, would be paid by invoice)
3. SAWDUST DAYS
Request permission to grant approval to the Oshkosh Sawdust Days Committee to utilize
Menominee Park and facilities on Sunday, June 30th through Tuesday, July 9th, 2002,
from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., for the Sawdust Days Festival, in accordance with the
attached letter of request and memo from Parks Director Tom Stephany.
4. OSHKOSH REGATTA 2002
Request permission to grant approval to the Badger State Outboard Association to utilize
Menominee Park, Millers Bay and facilities on Saturday and Sunday, August 31st and
September 1st, 2002, from 11:30 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., for the Oshkosh Regatta 2002, in
accordance with the attached letter of request and memo from Parks Director Tom
Stephany.
5. LABOR DAY PICNIC
Request permission to grant approval to the Winnebago Count Labor Council to utilize
South Park and facilities on Monday, September 2, 2002, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., for
their Labor Day Picnic, in accordance with the attached letter of request and memo from
Parks Director Tom Stephany.
