HomeMy WebLinkAbout01-395.docSEPTEMBER 11, 2001 FIRST READING SEPTEMBER 25, 2001 SECOND READING 01-370 01-395 ORDINANCE (CARRIED 6-0 LOST LAID OVER WITHDRAWN PURPOSE: INITIATED BY: PLAN COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: ZONE CHANGEANITZEL AVENUE, WEST OF & ADJACENT TO 2500 WITZEL AVENUE MIDWEST REAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENT Approved A GENERAL ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OSHKOSH AMENDING SECTION 30-16 (B) OF THE OSHKOSH MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO ZONING DISTRICTS. The Common Council of the City of Oshkosh do ordain as follows: SECTION 1. That Section 30-16(B) of the Oshkosh Municipal Code pertaining to Zoning Districts and the map therein described is hereby amended by changing the district character of the following described area from C-1 Neighborhood Business to R- 5 Multiple Dwelling. A parcel of land located in the SE ¼ of the NW ¼ of Section 21, T18N, R16E, 6th Ward, City of Oshkosh, Winnebago County, Wisconsin, Bounded and described as follows: Commencing at the center of said Section 21; thence S 89-42-39 W 686.60 ft. along the S line of the NW ¼ of Section 21 to the Sly extension of the W line of Lot 1 of CSM No. 3311; thence N 00-05-19 W 55.00 ft. along said Sly extension to the SW corner of said Lot 1 and the point of beginning; thence S 89-42-39 W 184.02 ft. along the N right-of- way line of Witzel Ave.; thence S 86-48-45 W 167.77 ft. along said north right-of-way line; thence N 00-02-23 E 333.49 ft.; thence N 89-42-39 E 350.79 ft. to the W line of Lot 1 of CSM No. 3311; thence S 00-05-19 E 325.00 ft. along said W line to the point of beginning, plus public right-of-way abutting said lot extending to the centerline of Witzel Ave. SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication.
