PURPOSE:
GRANT CONDITIONAL USE PERMITS:
(A) 510 E. NEW YORK AVENUE
(B) VACANT LOT, NE CORNER OSHKOSH AVENUE AND
PUNHOQUA STREET
INITIATED BY: (A) DENNIS SCHWAB; (B) AMERITECH, PETITIONER
PLAN COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: Both found consistent with Standards set forth in Section
30-1 I(D) of the Zoning Ordinance and approved w/conditions as noted
BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh that
conditional use permits are hereby granted under Section 30-11 of the Oshkosh Zoning
Ordinance for the following properties, and that said permits are granted with conditions,
if any, as noted for each respective property.
A) 510 E. New York Avenue; Dennis Schwab, owner
A conditional use permit for construction/expansion of a parking lot, per the attached
"Exhibit A", contingent upon the following:
1) The two lots that comprise the parking lot be combined prior to obtaining a
building permit.
2) A landscaping plan be submitted to, and approved by, the Department of
Community Development prior to issuance of a building permit.
3) Screening be installed in compliance with Section 30-35(I) of the City of Oshkosh
Zoning Ordinance.
B) Vacant Lot, NE Corner Oshkosh Avenue & Punhoqua Street; Ameritech,
petitioner
A conditional use permit for construction of a 11' x 16' remote telecommunication
terminal, per the attached "Exhibit B", contingent upon the following:
1 ) Submittal of a landscape plan that provides a sufficient level of landscape
treatment to de-emphasize the appearance of this stand-alone structure with said plan
subject to review and approval by the Department of Community Development.
2) The owner/petitioner obtain a variance from the Board of Appeals to locate the
building on the subject property prior to issuance of a building permit.
