PURPOSE: APPROVE VARIANCE/1214 INDIGO DRIVE INITIATED BY: FLOOD HOMES, PETITIONER WHEREAS, Flood Homes, on behalf of the owner of 1214 Indigo Drive, respectfully requests a variance for a 4+ ft. setback from the south lot line and a 19+ ft. setback from the park boundary line while Section 16-15(A)(1 )(d) of the Municipal Code requires a 5 ft. setback from the lot line and a 25 ft. setback from the park boundary line; and WHEREAS, approval of this request does not appear to create a negative impact on, nor be out of character with, Patrician Village and the surrounding environs. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh that pursuant to Section 16-18 of the Oshkosh Municipal Code, the request for special exceptions to the setback requirements for mobile homes at 1214 Indigo Drive, as noted above, are hereby approved with the condition that the existing wall of evergreen shrubs and trees be maintained along the south lot line of the property. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proper City officials are authorized and directed to take necessary steps to implement this decision.
