COMMON COUNCIL MEETING

A. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT
1. BILLS
It is recommended that the bills, as audited and presented by the Director of Finance, be
approved for payment.
2. BLOCK PARTY
Request permission to grant approval to the Christian Book Nook to close Market Street,
from High Avenue to Algoma Boulevard, and to utilize Founder's Plaza on Saturday,
October 13, 2001, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., for a block party, in accordance with the
attached letter of request.
3. BREAST CANCER AWARENESS RUN/WALK
Request permission to grant approval to the American Cancer Society to utilize
Menominee Park, city streets and facilities on Saturday, October 13, 2001, from 9:00 a.m.
to 12:00 p.m., for a Breast Cancer Awareness 2 mile/5 mile Run/Walk, in accordance with
the attached letter of request.
4. CHILDREN'S PARADE & PICNIC
Request permission to grant approval to the Ohio Street Civic Association and Unity for
Children to utilize South Park, city streets and facilities on Saturday and Sunday, August
18 and 19, 2001, from 1:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, and from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00
p.m. on Sunday, for the 69th Annual Children's Parade and Picnic, in accordance with the
attached letter of request.
5. UW-OSHKOSH MOVE-IN DAY
Request permission to grant approval to the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh to make
certain traffic changes around the University area on Sunday and Monday, September 2
and 3, 2001, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., in accordance with the attached map and letter
of request.
6. UW-OSHKOSH COMMUNITY & FAMILY APPRECIATION WEEKEND
Request permission to grant approval to the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh to close
Algoma Boulevard, from Woodland Avenue to Osceola Street, on Saturday, September
22, 2001, from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., for a Community and Family Appreciation
celebration, in accordance with the attached letter of request.
