PURPOSE: TRAFFIC REGULATIONS INITIATED BY: TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT A GENERAL ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OSHKOSH AMENDING SECTIONS 27-7 (A- 8) AND 27-23 (A-11) OF THE OSHKOSH MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO THROUGH STREETS DESIGNATED AND PARKING REGULATIONS ON DESIGNATED STREETS AND ALLEYS. The Common Council of the City of Oshkosh do ordain as follows: SECTION 1. That Section 27-7 (A-8) of the Oshkosh Municipal Code pertaining to through streets designated is hereby amended as follows: A-8 THROUGH STREET DESIGNATED Delete Therefrom: North Main Street from Fox River to City Limits except at its intersection with Ceape Avenue (Marion Road), Otter Avenue (Pearl Avenue), Waugoo Avenue (High Avenue), Washington Avenue (Algoma Boulevard), Merritt Avenue (Church Avenue), Parkway Avenue, Irving Avenue, New York Avenue (Harrison Street), Murdock Avenue, Packer Avenue, and County Trunk Highway "J". Add Thereto: North Main Street from Fox River to City Limits except at its intersection with Ceape Avenue, Otter Avenue (Pearl Avenue), Waugoo Avenue (High Avenue), Washington Avenue (Algoma Boulevard), Merritt Avenue (Church Avenue), Parkway Avenue, Irving Avenue, New York Avenue (Harrison Street), Murdock Avenue, Snell Road, and County Trunk Highway "Y". SECTION 2. That Section 27-23 (A-11) of the Oshkosh Municipal Code pertaining to parking regulations on designated streets is hereby amended as follows: JULY 24, 2001 FIRST READING 01-314 ORDINANCE A-11 PARKING REGULATIONS NORTH MAIN STREET Delete Therefrom: 90-minute parking, east side, from Ceape Avenue to 206 feet north of Ceape Avenue, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. daily except on Sundays and New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Add Thereto: No parking, east side, from Ceape Avenue to Otter Avenue. OAK STREET Delete Therefrom: Angle parking, east side, from Cleveland Avenue north a distance of 185 feet. No parking, east side, from Irving Avenue south to 185 feet north of Cleveland Avenue. Add Thereto: No parking, east side, from Cleveland Avenue to Irving Avenue. OHIO STREET Delete Therefrom: No parking, east side, from 8th Avenue to 11th Avenue. Add Thereto: No parking, east side, from 8th Avenue to South Park Avenue. SCOTT AVENUE Delete Therefrom: No parking, south side, from McKinley Street to 50 feet west of McKinley Street. 4-hour parking, south side, from 40 feet west of Cherry Street to McKinley Street between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Add Thereto: No parking, south side, from 50 feet west of McKinley JULY 24, 2001 FIRST READING Street to 38 feet east of McKinley Street. 01-314 ORDINANCE Add Thereto: 5th AVENUE Add Thereto: 4-hour parking, south side, from 40 feet west of Cherry Street to 38 feet east of McKinley Street between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. No parking, south side, from Ohio Street to 45 feet west of Ohio Street. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, publication, and placement of the appropriate signage.
