COMMON COUNCIL MEETING

A. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT
1. BILLS
It is recommended that the bills, as audited and presented by the Director of Finance, be
approved for payment.
2. BLOCK PARTY
Request permission to grant approval to residents of Winnebago Avenue to close the
1300 block of Winnebago Avenue on Sunday, June 24, 2001, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00
p.m., for a neighborhood watch block party, in accordance with the attached letter of
request.
3. MISS WISCONSIN PARADE
Request permission to grant approval to the Miss Wisconsin Organization to utilize city
streets and facilities on Wednesday, June 20, 2001, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., for the
annual Miss Wisconsin Parade, in accordance with the attached letter of request.
4. SPRING INTO SUMMER CELEBRATION
Request permission to grant approval to the New Moon Coffee Company to utilize Market
Street and Sundial Plaza on Saturday, June 16, 2001, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., for a
"Spring Into Summer Celebration", in accordance with the attached letter of request.
5. GRAND OPERA HOUSE PICNICS
Request permission to grant approval to the Grand Opera House to close Market Street,
from High Avenue to Algoma Boulevard, on July 20, August 10 and 24, 2001, from 3:00
p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on September 22, 2001, from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., on May 18, 2002,
from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and on June 8, 2002, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., for
outdoor picnics, in accordance with the attached letter of request.
6. SUNDAY SCHOOL PICNIC
Request permission to grant approval to First English Lutheran Church to close Minnesota
Street, from 10th Avenue to 11th Avenue, from 11:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., on Sunday, June 3,
2001, for a Sunday School Picnic, in accordance with the attached letter of request.
7. OUTDOOR BOAT RACES
Request permission to grant approval to the American Power Boat Association to utilize
Menominee Park and facilities on Saturday and Sunday, September 1 and 2, 2001, from
7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and to waive the rule of no camping in the park for both days, for
outdoor boat races, in accordance with the attached letter of request and memorandum
from Parks Director Tom Stephany.
8. SPIRITFEST
Request permission to grant approval to Calvary Chapel of Oshkosh to utilize Menominee
Park and facilities on Saturday, August 25, 2001, from 12:00 noon to 9:00 p.m., for a
Spiritfest Concert, in accordance with the attached letter of request and memorandum
from Parks Director Tom Stephany.
9. NORTHWESTERN CONCERT
Request permission to grant approval to the Oshkosh Northwestern to utilize Riverside
Park and facilities on Friday, June 8, 2001, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., for a picnic and
concert featuring the United States Airforce Band, in accordance with the attached letter
of request.
