Home My WebLink About01-223.docMAY 22, 2001 (CARRIED 6-0 PURPOSE: INITIATED BY: 01-223 RESOLUTION LOST LAID OVER WITHDRAWN AWARD BID FOR PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT- ROE AND WESTHAVEN CIRCLE PARKS PARKS DEPARTMENT WHEREAS, the City of Oshkosh has heretofore advertised for bids for playground equipment for Roe and Westhaven Circle Parks; and WHEREAS, family members from both parks and the Advisory Parks Board reviewed the proposals and were involved with the equipment selection process; and WHEREAS, based on the results of the selection process, the following bids were selected that provided the most advantageous proposal(s): GERBER LEISURE PRODUCTS, INC. P.O. BOX 5613 MADISON, WI 53705 Roe Park: Westhaven Circle Park: $31,676.00 $33,668.00 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh that the said proposals are hereby accepted and the proper City officials are hereby authorized and directed to enter into an appropriate agreement for the purpose of same, all according to plans, specifications, and bids on file. Money for this purpose is hereby appropriated from: Acct. No. 325-0610-7204-07001 (Roe Park) Acct. No. 325-0610-7203-07102 (Westhaven Circle Park)
