HomeMy WebLinkAbout01-178.docAPRIL 24, 2001 01-178 RESOLUTION (CARRIED 6-0 LOST LAID OVER WITH DRAWN PURPOSE: APPROVE VARIANCE/1423 INDIGO DRIVE INITIATED BY: FLOOD HOMES INC. WHEREAS, Flood Homes, Inc. on behalf of the owner of 1423 Indigo Drive, respectfully requests a variance for a 4+ ft. separation between a proposed new mobile home and the lot line while Section 16-15(A)(1)(d) of the Municipal Code requires a 5 ft. separation from the lot line; and WHEREAS, Section 16-18 of the Oshkosh Municipal Code authorizes the Common Council to make special exceptions to mobile home park regulations; and WHEREAS, approval of this request does not appear to create a negative impact on, nor be out of character with, Patrician Village and the surrounding environs. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh that pursuant to Section 16-18 of the Oshkosh Municipal Code, the request for special exceptions to the distance between a mobile home and the lot line, as noted above, is hereby approved. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proper City officials are authorized and directed to take necessary steps to implement this decision.
