PURPOSE: INITIATED BY: ESTABLISH FAIR MARKET VALUE; AUTHORIZE PURCHASE/ 422 MARION ROAD CITY ADMINISTRATION WHEREAS, the Common Council has previously determined the necessity of acquiring property to implement the previously approved Marion Road/Pearl Avenue Redevelopment Project Area, as amended, and WHEREAS, a review appraisal has been made on the property to be acquired, which is described below: 422 MARION ROAD; Zion Ev. Lutheran Church, owner Lots 6, 7 8 and part of Lot 5, Libbey's Replat, and a part of vacated Bell Street; now known as Lot 1 of CSM #2481 as recorded in Doc. No. 789035, Register of Deeds, 1st Ward, City of Oshkosh, Winnebago County, Wisconsin. (Tax ID #901-0201-0000) and WHEREAS, the property and interest to be acquired includes land and buildings, if any, exclusive of equipment and fixtures both movable and immovable. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh that the Common Council certifies the review appraisal has been performed in a competent manner according to applicable State and Federal laws, policies and requirements. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the fair market value for 422 MARION ROAD is hereby established at FOUR HUNDRED EIGHTY THOUSAND AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($480,000.00). JANUARY 23, 2001 01-30 RESOLUTION CONT'D BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proper City officials are hereby authorized and directed to acquire said property and to execute all documents necessary to consummate this transaction.
