PURPOSE:
APPROVE VARIANCE/3759 GLENKIRK LANE
INITIATED BY: EDISON ESTATES, PETITIONER
WHEREAS, Edison Estates, on behalf of the owner of 3759 Glenkirk Lane,
respectfully requests a variance for a 13+ ft. setback from the park street while Section
16-15(A)(1 )(d) of the Municipal Code requires a 20 ft. setback from the street; and
WHEREAS, approval of this request does not appear to create a negative impact
on, nor be out of character with, Edison Estates and the surrounding environs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of
Oshkosh that pursuant to Section 16-18 of the Oshkosh Municipal Code, the request for
special exceptions to the setback requirements for mobile homes at 3759 Glenkirk
Lane, as noted above, is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proper City officials are authorized and
directed to take necessary steps to implement this decision.
