HomeMy WebLinkAbout00-452.docNOVEMBER 14, 2000 00-452 RESOLUTION (CARRIED 7-0 LOST LAID OVER WITHDRAWN .) PURPOSE: APPROVE VARIANCE/1500 INDIGO DRIVE INITIATED BY: FLOOD HOMES INC. WHEREAS, Flood Homes, Inc. on behalf of the owner of 1500 Indigo Drive, respectfully requests the following variances for placement of a new mobile home: 1) A 3'6" setback from the east lot line and a 2'5" setback from the west lot line, whereas Section 16-15(A)(1)(d) of the Municipal Code requires a 5-ft. setback from any mobile home lot line. 2) A 21+-ft. setback from the park boundary line, 15(A)(1)(d) of the Municipal Code requires a 25-ft. minimum boundary line. whereas Section 16- setback from a park and WHEREAS, Section 16-18 of the Oshkosh Municipal Code authorizes the Common Council to make special exceptions to mobile home park regulations; and WHEREAS, approval of this request does not appear to create a negative impact on, nor be out of character with, Patrician Village and the surrounding environs. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh that pursuant to Section 16-18 of the Oshkosh Municipal Code, the request for special exceptions to the setback requirements for mobile homes at 1500 Indigo Dr., as noted above, are hereby approved with the condition that a solid row of evergreen shrubs or trees at least 4 ft. high be planted on the north lot line of 1500 Indigo Drive. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proper City officials are authorized and directed to take necessary steps to implement this decision.
