HomeMy WebLinkAbout00-435.docOCTOBER 24, 2000 00-435 RESOLUTION (CARRIED 6-0 LOST LAID OVER WITHDRAWN ,) PURPOSE: INITIATED BY: ESTABLISH FAIR MARKET VALUES; AUTHORIZE PURCHASES (A) 437 PEARL AVENUE; (B) 449 PEARL AVENUE CITY ADMINISTRATION WHEREAS, the Common Council has previously determined the necessity of acquiring property to implement the previously approved Marion Road/Pearl Avenue Redevelopment Project Area, as amended, and WHEREAS, a review appraisal has been made on the properties to be acquired, which are described below: 437 Pearl Avenue Mary Blanchette-Hunn, owner Being a part of Western Add., Block G, commencing at the NEly corner of Lot 11, thence Wly along Pearl Ave 31 ft. 2 in. S parallel with the Ely line of said Lot 80 ft. 5 in. Ely at right angles to said last line 3 ft. 2 in. Sly parallel with Ely line of said lot 36 ft. 9 in. Ely parallel with Pearl Ave. 28 ft. Nly 117 ft. 2 in. to place of beginning, 1st Ward, City of Oshkosh, Winnebago County, Wisconsin. (Tax #90102630000) 449 Pearl Avenue Mokler Properties Inc., owner The Ely 19.5 ft. of Lot 9 and Wly 15 ft. and Ely 2 ft. of Wly 17 ft. of Nly 61 ft. of Lot 10, Block G, Western Add., 1st Ward, City of Oshkosh, Winnebago County, Wisconsin. (Tax #90102600000) and WHEREAS, the property and interest to be acquired includes land and buildings, if any, exclusive of equipment and fixtures both movable and immovable. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh that the Common Council certifies the review appraisal has been performed in a competent manner according to applicable State and Federal laws, policies and requirements. OCTOBER 24, 2000 00-435 RESOLUTION CONT'D BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the fair market value for 437 PEARL AVENUE is hereby established at SEVENTY-THREE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($73,100.00). BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the fair market value for 449 PEARL AVENUE is hereby established at SIXTY-FIVE THOUSAND AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($65,OOO.OO) BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proper City officials are hereby authorized and directed to acquire said properties and to execute all documents necessary to consummate these transactions.
