DETERMINATION OF NECESSITY TO ACQUIRE PROPERTY/
201 CEAPE AVENUE

WHEREAS, the City Administration has determined it is in the best interests of
the City of Oshkosh to acquire certain land within the Oshkosh Centre Redevelopment
Project Area, as amended, for the expansion of the Convention Centre and Riverside
Park, and
WHEREAS, the completion of said project requires the acquisition of property at
201 Ceape Avenue, as described below.
The N 260 ft. of Lot 9 and all of Lot 10, Block 161, LM Millers 1st Addn. as per
Leachs Map, also the N 260 ft. of Lots 1 thru 6, Block 17, LM Millers 1st Addn., 8th
Ward, City of Oshkosh, Winnebago County, Wisconsin. (Tax #908-0017-0000)
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of
Oshkosh that the Common Council certifies it is necessary for the City to acquire the
property described above in order for said purpose to be accomplished. It is further
determined by the Common Council that acquisition of the property described above is
hereby determined necessary pursuant to the provisions of Section 32.05 and Section
32.07 of the Wisconsin Statutes.
