PURPOSE:
INITIATED BY:
ESTABLISH FAIR MARKET VALUE; AUTHORIZE PURCHASE/
100 WISCONSIN STREET
CITY ADMINISTRATION
WHEREAS, the Common Council has previously determined the necessity of
acquiring property to implement the previously approved Marion Road/Pearl Avenue
Redevelopment Project Area, as amended, and
WHEREAS, a review appraisal has been made on the property to be acquired,
which is described below:
100 Wisconsin Street
Richard Buser, etal, owners
The SW ¼ of Lot 20, Block M, Western Addition, 1st Ward, City of Oshkosh, Winnebago
County, Wisconsin. (Tax #901-0363-0000)
and
WHEREAS, the property and interest to be acquired includes land and buildings,
if any, exclusive of equipment and fixtures both movable and immovable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of
Oshkosh that the Common Council certifies the review appraisal has been performed in
a competent manner according to applicable State and Federal laws, policies and
requirements.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the fair market value for 100 Wisconsin St. is
hereby established at ONE HUNDRED FIFTY-SIX THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED AND
NO/100 DOLLARS ($156,500.00).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proper City officials are hereby authorized
and directed to acquire said property and to execute all documents necessary to
consummate this transaction. Money for this purpose is appropriated from:
Account No. 539-1040-7208-00000 TIF 13 Marion Road/Pearl Avenue
