PURPOSE:
ESTABLISH FAIR MARKET VALUE; AUTHORIZE PURCHASES/
120 WISCONSIN STREET & ADJACENT VACANT LOTS
INITIATED BY: CITY ADMINISTRATION
WHEREAS, the Common Council has previously determined the necessity of
acquiring property to implement the previously approved Marion Road/Pearl Avenue
Redevelopment Project Area, as amended, and
WHEREAS, a review appraisal has been made on the properties to be acquired,
which are described below:
120 Wisconsin Street; Karen Davis, owner
The Nly 75 ft. of the Sly 80 ft. of Lots 1 & 2, Block M, Western Addn., 1st Ward, City of
Oshkosh, Winnebago County, Wisconsin. (Tax #90103550000)
Vacant Lot, Wisconsin Street; Karen Davis, owner
The Sly 5-ft. of Lots 1 & 2, also the Nly 30 ft. of Lot 19, Block M, Western Addn., 1st
Ward, City of Oshkosh, Winnebago County, Wisconsin. (Tax #90103610000)
Vacant Lot, Wisconsin Street; Karen Davis, owner
The NE ½ of Lot 20 and the SW ½ of Lot 19, Block M, Western Addn., 1st Ward, City of
Oshkosh, Winnebago County, Wisconsin. (Tax #90103620000)
and
WHEREAS, the property and interest to be acquired includes land and buildings,
if any, exclusive of equipment and fixtures both movable and immovable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of
Oshkosh that the Common Council certifies the review appraisal has been performed in
a competent manner according to applicable State and Federal laws, policies and
requirements.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the combined fair market value for 120
Wisconsin Street and the adjacent vacant lots described above is hereby established at
ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY-THREE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED AND NO/100
DOLLARS ($173,500.00).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proper City officials are hereby authorized
and directed to acquire said properties and execute all documents necessary to
consummate this transaction. Money for this purpose is appropriated from:
Account No. 539-1040-7208-00000 TIF 13 Marion Road/Pearl Avenue
