COMMON COUNCIL MEETING

A. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT
1. BILLS
It is recommended that the bills, as audited and presented by the Director of Finance, be
approved for payment.
2. NEIGHBORHOOD BLOCK PARTY
Request permission to grant approval to the residents of Laager Lane to close Laager
Lane, from Knapp Street to Orchard Lane, on Saturday, August 19, 2000, from 3:00 p.m.
to 9:00 p.m., for a neighborhood block party, in accordance with the attached letter of
request.
3. NEIGHBORHOOD BLOCK PARTY
Request permission to grant approval to the residents of Thornton Drive to close Thornton
Drive, from Allerton Drive to Covington Drive, on Saturday, August 26, 2000, from 3:00
p.m. to 9:00 p.m., for a neighborhood block party, in accordance with the attached letter of
request.
4. TAKE BACK THE NIGHT
Request permission to grant approval to the Take Back The Night Planning Committee to
utilize Riverside Park, city streets and facilities for their Take Back The Night Rally and
March on Tuesday, September 26, 2000, beginning at 6:30 p.m., in accordance with the
attached letter of request.
5. UW-OSHKOSH STUDENT MOVE-IN
Request permission to grant approval to the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh to change
traffic patterns in the University area on Sunday and Monday, September 3 and 4, 2000,
from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., to accommodate the students returning to school, in
accordance with the attached letter of request.
6. CHILDREN'S DAY PARADE
Request permission to grant approval to the Ohio Street Civic Association to utilize city
streets and South Park on Sunday, July 30, 2000, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., for the
Children's Day Parade, in accordance with the attached letter of request.
