HomeMy WebLinkAbout00-296.docJULY 25, 2000 00-296 RESOLUTION (CARRIED 6-0 LOST LAID OVER WITHDRAWN ) PURPOSE: INITIATED BY: ESTABLISH FAIR MARKET VALUES; AUTHORIZE PURCHASES: (A) 107 IDA AVENUE; (B) 465 PEARL AVENUE CITY ADMINISTRATION WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh has previously determined the necessity of acquiring property to implement the previously approved redevelopment plan for the Division Street/N. Main Street Redevelopment Project Area; and WHEREAS, the Common Council has previously determined the necessity of acquiring property to implement the previously approved Marion Rd./Pearl Ave. Redevelopment Project Area, as amended, and WHEREAS, a review appraisal has been made on the properties to be acquired, which are described below: 107 Ida Avenue Tri-Star Investments, Inc., owner W 43 ft. of Lot 36, Block 45, VVW Wrights Sub of Part of Block 45 & F, 7th Ward, City of Oshkosh, Winnebago County, Wisconsin. (Tax ID #907-0393-0000) 465 Pearl Avenue Michael Mokler, etal, owners Lot 7, Block G, Western Add., 1st Ward, City of Oshkosh, Winnebago County, Wisconsin. (Tax ID #901-0256-0000) and WHEREAS, the property and interest to be acquired includes land and buildings, if any, exclusive of equipment and fixtures both movable and immovable. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh that the Common Council certifies the review appraisal has been performed in a competent manner according to applicable State and Federal laws, policies and requirements. JULY 25, 2000 00-296 RESOLUTION CONT'D BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the fair market value for 107 Ida Avenue described above is hereby established at FORTY-EIGHT THOUSAND AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($48,000.00). BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the fair market value for 465 Pearl Avenue described above is hereby established at SIXTY-ONE THOUSAND AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($61,000.00). BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proper City officials are hereby authorized and directed to acquire said properties and execute all documents necessary to consummate this transaction. Money for this purpose is appropriated from: Account #303-0740-7208-15026 CDBG/Division Street Redevelopment Account #539-1040-7208-00000 TIF 13 Marion Road/Pearl Avenue Redevelopment
