A. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT
1. BILLS
It is recommended that the bills, as audited and presented by the Director of Finance,
be approved for payment.
2. UW-OSHKOSH HOMECOMING PARADE
Request permission to grant approval to the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh to utilize
city streets and facilities for their annual Homecoming Parade on Saturday, October 14,
2000, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., in accordance with the attached letter of request.
3. PEACE LUTHERAN NEIGHBORHOOD PICNIC
Request permission to grant approval to Peace Lutheran Church to close 8th Avenue,
from Oregon to Minnesota, and Minnesota Street, from 8th Avenue to 9th Avenue, on
Sunday, July 16, 2000, from 11:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., for their 4th Annual Neighborhood
Picnic, in accordance with the attached letter of request.
4. PAINE ART CENTER ELEGANT ELEPHANT & CRAFT FAIR
Request permission to grant approval to the Paine Art Center & Gardens to close
Congress Avenue, from Elmwood Avenue to Algoma Boulevard, and that parking be
allowed on both sides of Elmwood, from New York Avenue to Bent, on Sunday, July 9,
2000, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., for their annual Elegant Elephant and Craft Fair, in
accordance with the attached letter of request.
5. PAINE ART CENTER ANNUAL LAWN CONCERT
Request permission to grant approval to the Paine Art Center & Gardens to allow
parking on both sides of Elmwood Avenue, from New York Avenue to Bent, on
Saturday, June 17, 2000, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., for their annual lawn concert, in
accordance with the attached letter of request.
6. MISS WISCONSIN PARADE
Request permission to grant approval to the Miss Wisconsin Organization to utilize city
streets and facilities on Wednesday, June 21,2000, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., for the
Miss Wisconsin Pageant Parade, in accordance with the attached letter of request.
7. ST. RAPHAEL'S ANNUAL PICNIC
Request permission to grant approval to St. Raphael's Catholic Church to utilize city
streets and facilities for their 5K Run/Walk and annual picnic on August 11 through
August 13, 2000, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., in accordance with the attached letter of
request.
