HomeMy WebLinkAbout00-221.docMAY 23, 2000 00-221 RESOLUTION (CARRIED LOST LAID OVER WITHDRAWN .) PURPOSE: APPROVE VARIANCE / 1324 INDIGO DRIVE INITIATED BY: FLOOD HOMES INC. WHEREAS, Flood Homes, Inc. on behalf of the owner of 1324 Indigo Dr., respectfully requests a variance for a 16+ ft. setback for a new mobile home while Section 16-15(A)(1)(d) of the Municipal Code requires a 25 ft. minimum setback from a park boundary line; and WHEREAS, Section 16-18 of the Oshkosh Municipal Code authorizes the Common Council to make special exceptions to mobile home park regulations; and WHEREAS, approval of this request does not appear to create a negative impact on, nor be out of character with, Patrician Village and the surrounding environs. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh that pursuant to Section 16-18 of the Oshkosh Municipal Code, the request for special exceptions to the setback requirements for mobile homes at 1324 Indigo Dr., as noted above, is hereby approved with the following condition: 1) A landscape plan be submitted to, and approved by, the Dept. of Community Development. Said plan shall include an evergreen tree or shrub border on the north lot line, with the plantings being at least 4 ft. high at the time of planting. If shrubs are installed, they shall be planted 5 ft. on center. If trees are planted, they shall be 10 ft. on center. Said approved landscaping shall be installed by October 15, 2000. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proper City officials are authorized and directed to take necessary steps to implement this decision.
