Home My WebLink About03-502BDECEMBER 9, 2003 03-502B RESOLUTION (CARRIED 7-0 LOST LAID OVER WITHDRAWN ) PURPOSE: AUTHORIZE FIRE DEPARTMENT GRANT/PREVENTION PROGRAMS INITIATED BY: OSHKOSH POLICE & FIRE DEPARTMENTS BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council for the City of Oshkosh that the proper City officials are hereby authorized and directed to approve a grant application by the Oshkosh Fire Department with Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) through the U.S. Fire Administration for: Fire Department Prevention Programs - To use for a program on smoke detector awareness, requesting 70% of $4,200.00. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proper City officials are hereby authorized and directed to execute any and all documents required by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) through the U.S. Fire Administration for purposes of same, and are further authorized and directed, if said grants are awarded, to accept such funds, pursuant to the terms of the grant application.
