PURPOSE: TRAFFIC REGULATIONS
INITIATED BY: TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT
A GENERAL ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OSHKOSH AMENDING SECTIONS 27 - 7 (A -
9), 27 - 8 (B - 5) and 27 - 23 (A - 11) OF THE OSHKOSH MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO
ONE WAY STREET, SPEED LIMITS AND PARKING REGULATIONS ON DESIGNATED
STREETS AND ALLEYS.
The Common Council of the City of Oshkosh do ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. That Sec tion 27 - 7 (A - 9) of the Oshkosh Municipal Code pertaining
to one way streets is hereby amended as follows:
A - 9 ONE WAY STREETS, AVENUES AND BOULEVARDS

Add Thereto : 21 Avenue from South Main Street to Doty Street for
westbound traffic.
Delete Therefro m : Soo Line Parking Lot Street, for southbound traffic.
SECTION 2. That Section 27 - 8 (B - 5) of the Oshkosh Municipal Code pertaining
to speed limits is hereby amended as follow:
B - 5 FORTY - FIVE (45) MILES PER HOUR
Add Thereto : Lake Butte des Morts Driv e from Westwind Road to
Ryf Road.
SECTION 3. That Section 27 - 23 (A - 11) of the Oshkosh Municipal Code
pertaining to parking regulations on designated streets and alleys is hereby amended
as follows:

WAUGOO AVENUE
Delete Therefrom : 90 - minute parking, both sides, from North Main Street
to 87 feet east of State Street between the hours of
9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily, except on Sundays and
New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor
Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
Add Thereto : 90 - minute parking, north side, from Main Street to 39
feet east of State Street between the hours of 9:00
a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily, except on Sundays and New
Year’s Day, Me morial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day,
Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
90 - minute parking, north side, from 65 feet east of
State Street to 90 feet east of State Street between
the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily, except on
Sundays and New Ye ar’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth
of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas
Day.
90 - minute parking, south side, from Main Street to 48
feet west of State Street between the hours of 9:00
a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily, except on Sundays and New
Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day,
Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
No parking, south side, from 48 feet west of State
Street to State Street.
90 - minute parking, south side, from State Street to
104 feet east of State Street betwe en the hours of
9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily, except on Sundays and
New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor
Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

Add Thereto : No parking, both sides, the east/west alley between
Eagle Street and Punhoqua Street, south of Oshkosh
Avenue and north of Maple Avenue.

SECTION 4. This ordinance sh all be in full force and effect after its passage,
publication, and placement of the appropriate signage.
