We are planning a 3 on 3 basketball challenge event. There are many neighboring communities that now hold this type of event and we believe it would be successful in Oshkosh. We are looking at two dates both involving a Saturday and Sunday. Our choices are Saturday and Sunday, April 24-25 or May 1-2, 2004. We are requesting use of the streets in the southern end of Menominee Park for two days. We believe the streets in the south end of the park would provide sufficient space for 10-15 half court basketball courts. A registration and first aid area would also be set up along with a limited number of food vendors (4-6). I understand that this type of request must be submitted to your office for approval by the city council. I have also enclosed a brief description of the event. If you require additional information, I can be contacted at 920 424 2146. I will anticipate a response by phone from your office. Please adv~ise regarding any administrative requirements. _D_orw.
