CITY OF OSHKOSH, WISCONSIN
PURPOSE: ORDER SIDEWALK REPAIR
INITIATED BY: DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS
WHEREAS, Section 66.0907, of the Wisconsin Statutes, permits the Board of Public
Works to order any sidewalk which is unsafe, defective, or insufficient to be repaired or
removed and replaced with a sidewalk in accordance with the standards fixed by the City of
Oshkosh Common Council; and
WHEREAS, Section 25-59, of the Municipal Code of the City of Oshkosh, permits the City to
remove and replace at abutting property owner's expense such sidewalk, curb cut, or driveway
approach should such owner fail to do so within twenty (20) days of receipt of notice to repair
or replace;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Public Works (City Manager) of
the City of Oshkosh that the owners of addresses listed on attached Exhibit'A' are ordered and
directed to repair or remove and replace all defective sidewalks, curb cuts, or driveway
approaches within twenty (20) days of service of an appropriate order.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is directed to place a Class 1 Notice in
the appropriate legal publication and mail by first class mail a copy of this resolution to all
affected property owners.
