PURPOSE: AMEND FLOODPLAIN ZONING ORDINANCE; ADOPT
REVISED FLOOD INSURANCE RATE MAPS AND FLOOD
INSURAN CE STUDY

A GENERAL ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OSHKOSH AMENDING SECTION 30 - 43
OF THE OSHKOSH MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO OFFICIAL MAPS; DISTRICT
BOUNDARIES OF THE FLOODPLAIN PR OVISIONS.
The Common Council of the City of Oshkosh do ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. The City of Oshkosh hereby adopts the Flood Insurance Study and
revised Flood Insurance Rate maps for the City of Oshkosh as published by the Federal
Emergency Manageme nt Agency (FEMA), with an effective date of March 17, 2003.
[Said study and maps on file at the City Clerk's Office.]
SECTION 2. That Section 30 - 43 Official Maps; District Boundaries of the
Floodplain Zoning Ordinance is hereby amended by changing the da te of the
referenced Flood Insurance Study, Flood Boundary and Floodway Maps and Flood
Insurance Rate Maps from June 2, 1995 to March 17, 2003.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in effect upon its passage and publication
and upon final approval by the W isconsin Department of Natural Resources and FEMA.
