PURPOSE:
APPROVE SALE OF SURPLUS PROPERTY/VACATED
SOUTHERN HALF OF MARION ROAD AT WISCONSIN STREET
INITIATED BY: CITY ADMINISTRATION
PLAN COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: Approved
BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh that the
proper City officials are hereby authorized and directed to execute any and all
documents necessary to consumate the sale of the southern half of vacated Marion
Road at its intersection with Wisconsin Street, as noted in the attached "Exhibit A", to D
& F Investments or successor.

Marion Road 7.5 foot wide Southern Street Vacation
Legal Description
Being a part of Marion Road in Block N of Westem Addition, a recorded subdivision,
being a part of the Southeast 1/4 of the Northeast ¼ and a part of the Southwest ¼ of the
Northeast ¼, in Section 23, Township 18 North, Range 16 East, City of Oshkosh,
Winnebago County, Wisconsin, bounded and described as follows:
Commencing at the southeast comer of said Northeast ¼ Section; thence North
01017'08" West, 233.67 feet along the east line of said Northeast ¼ Section to the
centefline of Pearl Avenue as established from the centerline of the existing pavement
between Dawes Street and Jackson Street; thence North 53°02'34'' West, 1008.36 feet
along said centerline to the northeasterly extension of the centerline of vacated Dawes
Street, to an angle point; thence North 52o53'32" West, 664.63 feet along the centerline
of Campus Drive(formerly Pearl Avenue) as established from the centerline of the
existing pavement of vacated Dawes Street to a point on the centerline of Wisconsin
Street as established from the centerline of the existing pavement; thence South
37°13'55" West, 375.29 feet along said centerline of Wisconsin Street to the
northwesterly extension of the south right of way of Pearl Avenue; thence South
53014'49" East, along said extension, 64.50 feet to a point on the south right of way of
Pearl Avenue; thence continuing South 53°14'49" East along said right of way of Pearl
Avenue, 288.51 feet to the westerly right of way of"new" Marion Road; thence South
36°45'11" West along said right of way, 463.78 feet to the northeasterly right of way of
"old" Marion Road; thence continuing South 36o45, 11" West, along an extension of said
right of way, 7.52 feet to the point of beginning;
Thence South 36°45'11" West, along an extension of the westerly right of way of"new"
Marion Road, 7.53 feet to a point on a line which is parallel to the northeasterly right of
way of "old" Marion Road; thence North 48°40'13" West, along said parallel of "old"
Marion Road, 297.20 feet to a point on the extension of the southeasterly right of way of
Wisconsin Street; thence North 43o24'54" East, 7.51 feet along extension of said right of
way of Wisconsin Street to a point on a line which is parallel to the northeasterly right of
way of"old" Marion Road; thence South 48o40, 13" East, along said parallel of"old"
Marion Road, 296.32 feet to the point of begiuning.
