PURPOSE:
WAIVE BIDS AND PURCHASE WATER METERS
INITIATED BY: CITY ADMINISTRATION
WHEREAS, the City has standardized on Badger meters,
WHEREAS, pursuant to City of Oshkosh Municipal Code Section 12-10(D)(1) the
formal bidding process may be waived when there has been standardization of materials.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of
Oshkosh that the proper City officials are hereby authorized and directed to waive bids and
to purchase water meters from:
BADGER METER, INC.
Utility Products Division
4545 W. Brown Deer Rd.
P. O. Box 245036
Milwaukee, WI 53224
according to the attached Purchase Agreement.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proper City officials are hereby authorized
and directed to enter into and sign the attached Agreement for the purchase of same.
Money for this purpose is hereby appropriated from:
Account No. 541-1810-1502-00000 -- Water Utility - Meter Inventory
