TRANSIT ADVISORY BOARD
STAFF REPORT

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
OLD BUSINESS
1. Reminder - We still have one board opening.
NEW BUSINESS
2. Tour of new Driver Comfort Station and Renovated Platform. The project is
about 90% complete. The last 1/3 of the platform and landscaping will be complete
in spring.
3. Route 10 Update (if there is one)
4. Discussion on frequency of meetings. Currently, meetings are scheduled monthly
and cancelled if there is not a sufficient agenda with an understanding we will
meet at least quarterly. Maybe we should change to bi-monthly or quarterly
scheduled meetings. This might make the board more attractive to potential
members.
STAFF STATEMENTS
5. Transit Equity Day
6. Student Pass Program update
7. Bus Update - All 4 2022 new buses are in service (2 clean diesel and 2 Hybrid)
8. Triennial Review 2023 – The Federal Transit Administration does an in-depth
review of federally funded transit agencies every 3 years in 20 areas such as
procurement, financials, ADA, Title VI etc. GO Transit’s review is this year.
9. Transit Development Plan – We are in the process of issuing a Request for
Proposal to hire a consultant to help with the TDP. We will update the board
throughout the process and some board members may be asked to participate on
the steering committee.
