SUBJECT: November 9, 2022 Commission Meeting
Meeting Minutes:
1) Call to Order
Ms. Brabender Mattox called the meeting to at 3pm. Mr. Ulrich, Mr. Miller, Ms. Stoll
Olthoff, and Mr. Smith were absent.
2) Approval of October 19, 2022 Meeting Minutes
Ms. Brabender Mattox had an amendment to the October minutes. She would like make
and addition to the section about the 413 N Main Street Jambalaya Arts Inc. indicating
the purpose of the plaque which is “due to its connection to Louis Hein”. Ms. Feld
seconded the motion and the motion carried unanimously.
3) Public Comment
No comments.
4) Pending Permits
a. 411 N Main Street – This permit will be remain pending until further
information is provided from applicant.
b. 1627 N Main Street – Windows – David Fulton was present and is the
property owner. Steve Klug from Luecks Home Improvement was present.
They explained that the windows they hope to replace are not original
windows.
c. 601 S Main Street – Sign – Aaron Wagner, building owners and Liza
Hellenbrand, tenant, were present to explain their proposed signage. The
sign material will be a vinyl wrap on the side of the building.
5) Historic Plaque Application
a. 1641 Jackson Street - pending
b. 427 W Irving Avenue – new
6) Commissioner Statements
a. Oshkosh Herald Article
7) Building Permit Review
The committee reviewed the building permits.
