RE: Update and Modify parking regulations Algoma Boulevard and waive second
reading
BACKGROUND
Algoma Boulevard was reconstructed this year. As a result, the road was realigned and some
parking cut-outs were added.
ANALYSIS
These ordinances update the parking regulations on Algoma Blvd. to match the new layout.
The University and Oshkosh Area School District support the layout.
We are requesting the second reading be waived as the road is open and being used as
proposed currently. Additionally, this will avoid the item being delayed until after the
holidays.
The traffic and parking advisory board recommends approval (6-0).
FISCAL IMPACT
The cost of these changes is updated signage which will be covered by the sign department
operations budget.
RECOMMENDATION
I recommend approval.
Respectfully Submitted, Approved:
Jim Collins, Transportation Director Mark A. Rohloff, City Manager
