The City Manager is seeking contacts to initiate
discussions with community leaders in order to identify next
steps. The Mayor and City Manager recently met with
Menominee Tribal government representatives.

Identify and pursue a strategy for the city to provide support
for short and long-term solutions to reduce and end
homelessness.
The Day By Day Warming Shelter purchased property from
the Housing Authority on 4/14/22, has opened bids and
has begun site work. The Tiny Homes site plan was
approved and construction of their Community Center has
begun.
More interagency and community
discussion are needed to address
this growing problem.

Continue incorporating equity and inclusion into the day-to-
day operations and structures of the Oshkosh city
government by doing the following: (a) Create employee DEI
committee and begin reporting on approved DEI measures;
and (b) Support DEI Committee and its consultant to create
the DEI Committee Strategic Plan.
Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) have been approved
by the DEI Committee, they are included in 2023 budget.1/30/2023 Report on KPIs will be available
once year end 2022 data is
available.

Continue participating in State multi-organizational committee
on Local Government Funding (LGFC) to address Oshkosh’s
shortfall in state-local funding, with particular attention to
Municipal Services Payment (MSP) program, Shared
Revenue, and Transportation Aids.
The City Manager continues to participate as a member of
statewide committee to investigate local sources of
revenue.
