Rohloff, City Manager RE: Professional Services Agreement with Donohue and Associates, Inc. (Donohue) for Wastewater Treatment Plant and Water Filtration Plant Roof Replacements ($52,660) The Department of Public Works requested a proposal from Donohue for engineering design and bidding assistance services for the Water Filtration Plant’s (WFP) 2nd and 3rd floor roofs and the Wastewater Treatment Plant’s (WWTP) Digester and Headworks roofs replacement. Services provided under this agreement will include development of plans and specifications for bidding and providing support for the City during public bidding. Donohue was chosen for these services due to their knowledge of the two (2) plants and their experience with this type of work at municipal water and wastewater facilities. The cost of these services is estimated not to exceed $52,660 and will be funded through the Capital Improvement Program (Account #03221810-7214-65026/Water Capital Fund- Buildings & Building Imprvmts-WFP Membrance Roof Replcmnt and Account #03221910-7214-64150/Sewer Capital Fund-Buildings & Building Imprvmts-WWTP Building Improvements). Chapter 12 of the Municipal Code of the City of Oshkosh provides that professional services of a specialized nature, including engineering services, may be procured without the use of formal, sealed quotes. In accordance with Section 12-16 of the Code, I am hereby submitting this report regarding this professional services agreement.
