J:\Temp\Council Agenda\10.25.22 Agenda Items\Memos ONLY word docs\35.docx Page 1 of 1 TO: Honorable Mayor and Members of the Common Council FROM: John Fitzpatrick, Assistant City Manager DATE: October 20, 2022 RE: Amendment No. 1 to Professional Services Agreement with AECOM for 2022 Storm Water Management Assistance ($9,000) A professional services agreement with AECOM for storm water management assistance services for the 2022 calendar year was reported to the Common Council on December 14, 2022. During the course of the project, additional services were requested by City staff. These services include performing a cost benefit analysis of alternatives for reducing flooding in the Stringham Basin watershed, incorporating the proposed storm sewer design along Wisconsin Street into the Anchorage Watershed model, and preparing the summary technical memorandum for the revised Anchorage Watershed model results. Staff has reviewed the amendment and the costs. The amount of this amendment is not to exceed $9,000. This will raise the total agreement amount to $39,000. Funds for this Project are included in the 2022 Storm Water Utility Budget (Account #05612030- 6401/Engineering & Planning-PS - Engineer/Survey/Appraisal) and the 2022 Capital Improvements Program (Account #03210410-6804-XXXXX/Contract Control-Storm Sewer-Multiple Projects). Chapter 12 of the Municipal Code of the City of Oshkosh provides that professional services of a specialized nature, including engineering services, may be procured without the use of formal, sealed quotes. In accordance with Section 12-16 of the Code, I am hereby submitting this report regarding this amendment. Please contact me if you have any questions concerning this amendment. JF/jlg
