RE: Amendment No. 1 to Professional Services Agreement with AECOM for
2022 Storm Water Management Assistance ($9,000)
A professional services agreement with AECOM for storm water management
assistance services for the 2022 calendar year was reported to the Common Council on
December 14, 2022. During the course of the project, additional services were requested
by City staff.
These services include performing a cost benefit analysis of alternatives for reducing
flooding in the Stringham Basin watershed, incorporating the proposed storm sewer
design along Wisconsin Street into the Anchorage Watershed model, and preparing the
summary technical memorandum for the revised Anchorage Watershed model results.
Staff has reviewed the amendment and the costs. The amount of this amendment is not
to exceed $9,000. This will raise the total agreement amount to $39,000. Funds for this
Project are included in the 2022 Storm Water Utility Budget (Account #05612030-
6401/Engineering & Planning-PS - Engineer/Survey/Appraisal) and the 2022 Capital
Improvements Program (Account #03210410-6804-XXXXX/Contract Control-Storm
Sewer-Multiple Projects).
Chapter 12 of the Municipal Code of the City of Oshkosh provides that professional
services of a specialized nature, including engineering services, may be procured
without the use of formal, sealed quotes. In accordance with Section 12-16 of the Code,
I am hereby submitting this report regarding this amendment.
