Home My WebLink AboutPOLICE & FIRE MINUTES 7.12.22 MINUTES Oshkosh Board of Police and Fire Commission July 12, 2022 A meeting of the Police and Fire Commission was held on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Room 406 of City Hall. The meeting was called to order at 3:02 P.M. ROLL CALL: Present: Commissioners Schorse, Jones, and Seibold. Excused/Absent: Commissioner Montgomery and Vajgrt. Chairperson Jones asked if there were any additions or corrections to the June 15, 2022 Meeting Minutes of the Police and Fire Commission. There being none, Commissioner Schorse made the motion, seconded by Commissioner Seibold, to approve the minutes as presented. Motion Carried 3-0. New Business: Commissioner Schorse made the motion, seconded by Commissioner Seibold, to appoint Lieutenant Drew Jaeger to the position of Battalion Chief effective July 17, 2022. Motion Carried 3-0. Commissioner Schorse made the motion, seconded by Commissioner Jones, to retire the current Fire Captain Eligibility List. Motion Carried 3-0. Commissioner Schorse made the motion, seconded by Commissioner Seibold, to approve the new Fire Captain Eligibility List. Motion Carried 3-0. Commissioner Schorse made the motion, seconded by Commissioner Seibold, to appoint Lieutenant CJ Wedell to the position of Captain effective July 17, 2022. Motion Carried 3-0. Commissioner Schorse made the motion, seconded by Commissioner Seibold, to appoint Equipment Operator Dave Koller to the position of Lieutenant effective July 17, 2022. Motion Carried 3-0. Commissioner Schorse made the motion, seconded by Commissioner Seibold, to appoint Equipment Operator Zach Beatty to the position of Lieutenant effective July 17, 2022. Motion Carried 3-0. Commissioner Schorse made the motion, seconded by Commissioner Seibold, to appoint Firefighter Tim Reitz to the position of Equipment Operator effective July 17, 2022. Motion Carried 3-0. There being no further business, Commissioner Schorse made the motion to adjourn, seconded by Commissioner Seibold. Motion carried 3-0.
