Please read the following information and sign at the bottom to acknowledge that you have read
and agree to comply with these conditions.
All habitable rooms must be provided with 87~. ~ight and 3.5% ventilation. Bedrot~ms
located on the second flQo. r.~r.b_e!9~ ground level must be provided with egress windows
in addition to the light and ventilation reqmrements. Basement windows are. also

Garage spaces shall be separated from the dwelling unit in accordance with ILHR 21.08.
The door and frame assejnbly between the dwelling unit and an attached garage shall be
labeled by an independent testing a~enc¥ as having a minimum fire-resistive rating of 20
minutes. All drywall joints are required to be taped/sealed unless the joints are fitted so
that the gap is no more than a dimes thickness (1/20-inch) and backed by solid wood or
drywall with the joints staggered.
All penetrations in exterior walls must be sealed prior to the insulation inspection. This
includes holes in the top and bottom plates, gaps around heating ducts, and holes in the
return air spaces.
Smoke detectors are required on every floor and within 6' of all bedrooms. The smoke
detectors are required to be hardwired and i_n~t_er_ CO.._,rgAe_c~.~d~.
Hydromassage tubs are required to have an access panel to motor. The access panel must
be accessible without removing the finish of the house.
All overframing must be designed by the tress manufacturer, according to standards set
by the truss plate institute, or structural calculations mu~st be provided prior to the rough
building inspection.
7. Truss plans must be submitted and approved prior to framing the roof.
Truss plans including the tress layout must be provided on site at the rough building
inspection. In addition to the truss plans, microlam calculations must be provided on site
at the rough building inspection for all microlams with point loads on them.
Calculations must be provided for all cantil~v6red flo6rs with point loads. Floor u'usses
and TJI's must b~.~igned for the cantilevered areas..

The property owner and applicant is responsible for compliance with ILHR 21.125
(Erosion Control). When installing access drives, a minimum of2"-3" diamete[_,s, t0.p~is,
required in addition to a minimum of 6" depth, 30'-50' length, and 14'-20' width. Erosion
control measures must be~. ~ai~t.a~ ~u!A~_~j,[ ~_e~la~
All storm sewer inlets must be protected with approved erosion control devices.,, T[~ing
(i.e. sediment) must be removed from the str_e..e.t ~t,_the~,.e,~n~d o,_f~ each, _~grkd~,~ay. Repair any
siltation or erosion ~.m~age to adjoining surfaces and drainageways resulting from land
development or disturbing activities.
The building placard must be posted on site at ail times. Once thee rough framing is up
the placard must be posted on the patio door or on a kitchen window. If the placard is not
present at any inspection, stop work orders will be posted. Additional placards can be
obtained through our'department if the cards are misplaced,
All mechanicais must be roughed in prior to requesting the rough building inspection. If
on the inspection the mechanicals are not roughed in, the inspection will fail and a $100
re-inspection fee will be charged.
Attached is a copy of the final inspection checklist. At the final inspection all items on
this list must be completed to avoid the $ i00 re-inspection fee per inspection.
When requesting final inspections please note that a minin~rn,of~ys notice is needed
from the time ~e. inspection is ready. Furniture is only allowed to be placed in the center
of the garage floor and a minimum of a 3' pathway must be provided around the walls of
the garage. At the final inspection no furniture or personal belongings are ailowed in the
house. Appliances such as the stove, refrigerator, washer, and dryer are not to be set in
place due to the electrical inspector needing m look at the power serving the appliances,
A 6' stepladder must be on site at.the fina(~pspection to provide access to the attic.
The building placard must remain on the patio door or on a kitchen window until
occupancy is approved. Occupancy is not allowed prior to the placard having all of the
finai inspection approved stickers onthe backside, If oqcupancy occurs prior to the
inspections being approved daily citations will be issued with n9, ~. ~h,.~e,[~9t~b~i~ng
