As a Community Development Director I deal daily with redeveloping the City of Kaukauna. In my career I have been the staff contact for both Menasha and Kaukauna's Redevelopment Authority and I am eager to bring that experience to the other side of the table as a Board Member. My education is in city planning, economic development, government financing, and government policy. I have direct experience in Development Agreements, land contracts, TIF, and much more. My experience and education will allow me to hit the ground running as a Redevelopment Authority Board Member. Please write a concise statement which describes why you wish to serve on the above Board/Commission. Redeveloping a city's core is one of the most difficult and most rewarding undertakings anyone can be a part of. I aim to ensure that we have a vibrant city core not just in the commercial districts but in the adjacent residential districts as well. Walkable, vibrant, mixed, and welcoming districts are what I would aim to create; making Oshkosh a place that everyone has access to quality housing, green space, jobs, and recreation. Thank you for the consideration and I would be humbled to help move Oshkosh forward.
