I am interested in helping to continue that trend by serving with morals, ethics, pragmatism, and fiscal responsibility. It is important to have many people with different views and outlooks serving Oshkosh to have a well balanced community. I have been a huge fan and participant of the field of humanities as a student, as a worker, and as an individual. I'm a musician and writer, and come from a family with a long history of music, artistry, and theater. I feel that Oshkosh is a unique and beautiful city, with great landmarks and sections of the city, yet still think there's way to create even more memorable areas and exhibits for residents and tourists to enjoy. I would suggest areas and buildings of the city that I feel deserve attention for rebuilding or enhancement to create a beautiful new area of the community without robbing it of its original presence and charm. In serving 15 years on the Plan Commission, i have established good working relationships with planning staff and other department staff that allow me to understand both the petitioner and the City's goals during the approval process.
