Staff continues to work with Day By Day Warming Shelter and OACF on facility options.
Tiny Homes project presented at 1/18/22 Plan Commission workshop. Homeless
support is part of the City's Neighborhood Investment Grant application to the State
DOA, and is part of the Homeless Continuum report. Staff is reviewing options on year
round temporary facility.

Continue incorporating equity and inclusion into the day-to-day
operations and structures of the Oshkosh city government by
doing the following: (a) Create employee DEI committee and
begin reporting on approved DEI measures; and (b) Support DEI
Committee and its consultant to create the DEI Committee
Strategic Plan.
Consultant currently conducting DEI training with staff. DEI Committee wants to
propose its own measures, and will continue to review draft KPI's in January and
February.

Present funding options to begin implementation of ADA
improvements as recommended by SRF / Accessibility Audit of
Oshkosh Public Buildings and Facilities Report.
Workshop on implementation of facilities assessment and ADA assessment has been

Continue participating in State multi-organizational committee
on Local Government Funding (LGFC) to address Oshkosh’s
shortfall in state-local funding, with particular attention to
Municipal Services Payment (MSP) program, Shared Revenue,
and Transportation Aids.
Staff continues to collaborate with other cities on legislative options outside of budget
process. City Manager is a member of statewide committee to investigate local sources
of revenue.

Development Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) Tourism Assessment
City staff are working with business owners to implement recommendations from the
plan including blade signs and flower pots in front of their businesses; will continue to
work with the CVB on moving forward with recommendations. CVB staff are working
with a consultant to start the rebranding process and are coordinating a feasibility
study for a downtown plaza.
