PURPOSE: ALLOW STREET PARKING ON WEST 9TH AVENUE FROM
OAKWOOD ROAD TO LINDEN OAKS DRIVE
INITIATED BY: TRAFFIC AND PARKING ADVISORY BOARD
A GENERAL ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OSHKOSH AMENDING SECTION 27A-11
PARKING REGULATIONS ON DESIGNATED STREETS AND ALLEYS
The Common Council of the City of Oshkosh do ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. That Sections 27A-11 pertaining to parking regulations on designated
streets and alleys of the Oshkosh Municipal Code are hereby amended as follows:
A-11 Parking Regulations on Designated Streets and Alleys
9TH AVENUE
Remove Therefrom: No parking, both sides from Reichow Street to Fox Fire
Drive
Add Thereto: No parking, north side from Reichow Street to 60’ west
of Oakwood Road
No parking, south side from Reichow Street to 126’ west
of Oakwood Road.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage, publication and placement of the appropriate signage.
SECTION 3. Publication Notice. Please take notice that the City of Oshkosh enacted
ordinance #21-XXX on January 25th, 2022, ALLOW STREET PARKING ON WEST 9TH
AVENUE FROM OAKWOOD ROAD TO LINDEN OAKS DRIVE (A GENERAL
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OSHKOSH AMENDING SECTION 27A-11 PARKING
REGULATIONS ON DESIGNATED STREETS AND ALLEYS). The ordinance allows

parking on the reconstructed W. 9th Avenue on both sides just west of the intersection of
Oakwood Road to Linden Oaks Drive.

RE: Ord 22-10 Allow on-street parking on West 9th Avenue, both sides, from Oakwood Road to
Linden Oaks Drive.
BACKGROUND
West 9th Avenue was reconstructed and striped to allow for on-street parking per prior council
direction on the road layout.
ANALYSIS
With the road reconstructed there is adequate space for on-street parking and it is striped
accordingly.
FISCAL IMPACT
The cost of the road striping was included in the street reconstruction budget.
RECOMMENDATION
I recommend approval.
