PURPOSE: DONATION TO THE BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB OF OSHKOSH –
COUNCIL MEMBER MILLER’S SALARY
INITIATED BY: CITY ADMINISTRATION
WHEREAS, the City of Oshkosh provides an annual salary amount to Council
Members; and
WHEREAS, Council Member Miller has requested to donate his remaining salary
for 2021, and future salary earned (until revoked), to the Boys and Girls Club of
Oshkosh.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Oshkosh authorizes the proper city officials to facilitate this request on behalf of
Council Member Miller, until it is revoked.

RE: Donation to Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh – Council Member Miller’s Salary
BACKGROUND
Council Member Miller has requested to donate his remaining and future salary to the Boys &
Girls Club of Oshkosh.
ANALYSIS
Mr. Miller will be employed for eighteen (18) pay periods in 2021. He has been paid for six of
those pay periods, leaving a remainder of twelve (12). Mr. Miller’s total remaining pay for these
twelve pay periods in 2021 is $2,307.72. Annual salaries for Council Members are currently
$5000.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that Council approve Mr. Miller’s request to donate his remaining and future
salary to the Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh, as proposed.
