Assistance for Landlords and Tenants during
COVID Emergency Council resolution supporting emergency rule sent to DATCP.10/12/2021
The City has allocated part of the City’s CDBG CARES for Rental Assistance.
ADVOCAP reports that the State of Wisconsin has approximately $400 million for
rental assistance that ADVOCAP will be able to use, along with other
municipalities throughout the state. We are awaiting criteria definitions
regarding distribution of funds.

Staff continues to work with Day By Day Warming Shelter and COTS on
facility options. "Tiny Homes" project has also inquired about proceeding
with their project.

Consultant conducted DEI training in May. Staff will work with DEI
Committee on developing measurable equity and inclusion goals. Staff
initiating work on relevant KPI's.

Development CVB Tourism Assessment
Staff recently met with Oshkosh CVB to discuss the recommendations. The
CVB recently received the final report and are reviewing it to fully
understand report recommendations. The final report is forthcoming and
CVB will identify key stakeholders in the city. Once roles are identified, then
it will be shared with Council. City staff will work with a Steering Committee
to start discussing initiatives. The City will have a role in supporting CVB's
initiative.
