RE: Amend Building Ordinance to Correct Administrative Code Reference
BACKGROUND
Council is being asked to approve an ordinance to correct the administrative code
reference contained in section 7-13 pertaining to building plan reviews.
ANALYSIS
City staff recently became aware of an administrative code reference that is incorrectly
listed in our City code. Currently, section 7-13(C) of the City code references the state
administrative code SPS 361.70 pertaining to building plan review. This administrative
code reference is incorrect; SPS 361.70 does not exist. The proposed ordinance updates
the administrative code to the correct reference of SPS 361.30. There are no substantive
changes proposed to the section.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no anticipated fiscal impact associated with the proposed ordinance change.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends adoption of the Ordinance.
Respectfully Submitted, Approved:
